These 9V DC Latching Solenoids are designed to fit all Hunter plastic valves used with battery operated controllers. Simply unscrew the AC solenoid on any Hunter valve and replace with the DC solenoid making them compatible with the XCH, NODE, SVC or WVS battery operated systems. Install the black wire to the common and the red wire to the station. It is important, for proper operation, these wires be connected correctly
